Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion, red and green bell peppers, and garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the chili paste, cumin, and smoked paprika. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 4-5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, and squeeze lemon juice over the dish.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
