Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta

Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta combines juicy seasoned shrimp, tender pasta and a rich parmesan cream sauce with just the right amount of heat.

Ingredients
- 300 g fettuccine or linguine
- 400 g peeled shrimp
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 250 ml heavy cream
- 70 g grated parmesan
- 100 ml pasta water
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- Reserve about 100 ml pasta water before draining.
- Pat the shrimp dry and season with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet.
- Cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and lightly golden.
- Remove shrimp from the pan.
- Add butter and garlic to the same skillet.
- Cook for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream.
- Stir in parmesan, paprika and a little pasta water.
- Add the pasta and toss until fully coated.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet.
- Finish with parsley, parmesan and black pepper.
