Moroccan Spicy Chili Shrimp Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, red and green bell peppers, and garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chili paste, cumin, and smoked paprika. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, and squeeze lemon juice over the dish.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
