Spicy Chili Stir-Fried Tofu and Zucchini

Ingredients

  • 400g firm tofu, cubed
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut into cubes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add tofu cubes to the skillet, stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
  4. Add zucchini slices and red bell pepper to the skillet, stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in soy sauce and chili paste, mixing well to coat the tofu and vegetables.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and continue to cook for 2-3 more minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
