Ingredients
- 500g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 stalks lemongrass, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red chili, sliced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the lemongrass, garlic, and red chili to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the lime juice, fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Cook for another 2 minutes, ensuring the shrimp are well coated in the sauce.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
