Moroccan Spicy Chili Lamb Skillet

Ingredients

  • 500g lamb, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the cubed lamb and cook until browned on all sides.
  4. Add sliced red bell pepper and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, and paprika.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes until the sauce thickens and lamb is cooked through.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro and serve with lemon wedges.
